About DigitalBracelet
DigitalBracelet is a free tool to turn any bracelet, tag or card into an emergency ID that tells people what to do. It is made for parents, families, carers, and anyone living with a condition a stranger should know about.
Privacy: how we store nothing
When you create an ID, your information is compressed and written into the link inside the QR code, after the "#" sign. Browsers never send that part of a link to a server. The site is a set of static pages: there is no database, no account, no tracking cookie, and nothing about you that we could leak, sell or lose. Fonts and illustrations are served from this site, not from third parties.
This also means we cannot recover or update a code for you. If something changes, create a new code and replace the old one.
Medical disclaimer
DigitalBracelet is an information tool, not a medical device, diagnosis, or monitoring service. Information on a card is entered by the wearer or their family and is not verified. The first-aid steps are short summaries of public guidance from health organisations, linked on each condition page; they are not a substitute for training or for the instructions of emergency services. In an emergency, always call your local emergency number.
Prices
Cost calculators use public prices from the sources linked on each page, checked regularly. No brand pays to be listed or ranked.
How we are funded
The tool is free. In the future the site may show links to bracelets and tags (some may be affiliate links) or accept donations. The emergency card itself will never show ads.
