What matters most on a senior’s ID
- Blood thinners and heart medicines: they change how a fall is treated
- Dementia or memory problems, with how to reassure them
- Two or three contacts in calling order
- Hearing aids, glasses, pacemaker
An ID bracelet is not a fall alarm
A QR ID helps once someone finds your parent. It does not call for help on its own. If your parent lives alone, look at a fall-detection device too; many "no monthly fee" devices call emergency services directly without passing on any medical information, and this ID fills that gap.

Questions
My parent does not use a smartphone. Does that matter?
No. They only wear the bracelet. It is the person helping them who scans it with their own phone.
What happens when their medicines change?
Edit the profile and print a new QR sticker, or rewrite the NFC tag. Because nothing is stored online, the old code keeps showing the old information, so replace it.
