Before you choose
The plan is the real cost
Most kids’ watches only work with their own monthly plan. Check if a yearly payment is cheaper.
Avoid no-name watches
Very cheap watches often depend on an app server that can shut down, leaving a watch that no longer locates anyone.
A free backup
A watch can run out of battery. A QR ID on the strap or shoe still lets whoever finds your child call you.
Whatever you choose, add a free emergency ID. Devices without a call centre phone emergency services without passing on any medical information, and any device can run out of battery. A QR ID on the strap fills both gaps.
